Artists Mandy Roberts & Tricia Hall set up Fruitful Arts in 2005. Both qualified educators, they set up an independent, flexible organization that could manage, coordinate and deliver visual art projects in a range of settings.
Imaginative workshop-based projects are an exciting way of engaging with art at the exhibition space and gaining a deeper insight into what art can be, where it can be shown and who can make it.
Supported by practicing artists, participants took part in activities that were carefully designed to facilitate greater access and participation in contemporary visual arts.
Most importantly, Fruitful Arts welcomed everybody regardless of their experience in the arts. An emphasise on building individuals’ confidence in their own creative potential and working with others to contribute to a vibrant creative culture in our the Eastern region.
